If you are hoping to inspire children to unleash their creativity and potential, join us an an Empowerer!

Your role as an Empowerer includes:

1.    Lead groups of 8-10 students during the camp

2.    Identifying learnable moments for students

Interested volunteers are required to commit to the following requirements:

1.   Camp Empowerer Training

- Date(s): 22nd October OR 29th October*

- Time: 2PM - 6PM

2. 2-day Cohort Level Camp

-        Date(s): 3rd & 4th November (Round 1) AND/OR 7th & 8th November (Round 2)*

-        Time: 7AM (Start time for First day) – 4.30PM (End time on Second day)

*Upon the acceptance of your registration, you will be required to fill in a form to report your availability for the training sessions and the camp dates. Minimum commitment is one training date AND at least one round of camp.

Dreamcatcher Builder

Your role as an Builder includes:

1.   Creation of playspace - Classroom set up and clean up

2.   Preparation of logistics

3.   Setting up of Quest Stations

- Time: 2PM - 6PM

1.    Take photos^ to document the process of the trainings and the camp

2.    Process photos for the team’s publicity use

Who We Are

Youth Corps Singapore is a national institution that supports young Singaporeans who are keen to serve the community. As the champion for youth volunteerism, it harnesses the energy and passion of youths to ignite positive change in the society through community service.

Bringing together Singapore Citizens and PRs aged 16 to 35, Youth Corps Singapore provides a platform for youths to learn new skills and meet like-minded peers, who aspire to go forth and create a better Singapore and a better world for all.

What We Offer

As a Member of Youth Corps Singapore, you can make friends with people like yourself at various platforms. Whether it’s health, education, or environmental causes, we offer a diverse range of volunteering opportunities and events for our Members, from community service events to regular volunteering.

Members can also join our Leaders Programme as Aspirants. We provide relevant trainings where you can take your skills and knowledge of service-learning to the next level, and apply them to a project to impact the community. You will also forge greater bonds with fellow Aspirants, and enjoy exclusive perks. When you are conferred as a Leader, you get to continue to develop yourself, initiate community projects and rally your friends to join you on a good cause.

The Red Box

Set in the heart of Orchard Road, The Red Box is a place for youths to gather, exchange ideas and take action to make Singapore a better home for all. Its name draws inspiration from the red box of Singapore’s Founding Prime Minister, Mr Lee Kuan Yew. It represents the late Mr Lee’s love and conviction towards creating a better Singapore.

The Red Box is open to all Youth Corps Members to ignite positive change in our community. Look out for various enrichment and engagement sessions at The Red Box.
