This opportunity is open to those aged 16 and above.

"Pet Fiesta" is one of event under the Stirring Stirling Series, where we empower residents to step up and organise a series of pet-themed acvitivies for the residents. Through this event, we hope to uncover the stories of residents through the sharing of their love for pets in the neighbourhood . 

As a Volunteer Befriender, you will be required to guide the residents along with animal craft actitvites and take good care of the welfare of the residents you are being grouped with. You are also required to share with us the stories of the residents that you have uncovered during the event. 

Commitment required for this event will be on the event day, 30 March 2019, Saturday, from 6.00pm to 10.00pm. No prior experience is required, and briefing will be conducted on the event day for all volunteers.

Who We Are

Youth Corps Singapore is a national institution that supports young Singaporeans who are keen to serve the community. As the champion for youth volunteerism, it harnesses the energy and passion of youths to ignite positive change in the society through community service.

Bringing together Singapore Citizens and PRs aged 16 to 35, Youth Corps Singapore provides a platform for youths to learn new skills and meet like-minded peers, who aspire to go forth and create a better Singapore and a better world for all.

What We Offer

As a Member of Youth Corps Singapore, you can make friends with people like yourself at various platforms. Whether it’s health, education, or environmental causes, we offer a diverse range of volunteering opportunities and events for our Members, from community service events to regular volunteering.

Members can also join our Leaders Programme as Aspirants. We provide relevant trainings where you can take your skills and knowledge of service-learning to the next level, and apply them to a project to impact the community. You will also forge greater bonds with fellow Aspirants, and enjoy exclusive perks. When you are conferred as a Leader, you get to continue to develop yourself, initiate community projects and rally your friends to join you on a good cause.

The Red Box

Set in the heart of Orchard Road, The Red Box is a place for youths to gather, exchange ideas and take action to make Singapore a better home for all. Its name draws inspiration from the red box of Singapore’s Founding Prime Minister, Mr Lee Kuan Yew. It represents the late Mr Lee’s love and conviction towards creating a better Singapore.

The Red Box is open to all Youth Corps Members to ignite positive change in our community. Look out for various enrichment and engagement sessions at The Red Box.
