Want to make a difference in the lives of youth?

Project Connecting aims to help youth-at-risk (from ages 13 to 16) from Andrew’s and Grace’s Girls Home develop themselves, in terms of their character and connection to society by organising activities and programs, including regular dragonboating sessions. We seek to create a safe space for these youth to express themselves by forging a network of trust and support amongst themselves and the volunteers as well as the Andrew and Grace’s Girls Home staffers in hope that they will be able to build healthy relationships with others.

We're looking for volunteers that meet the following requirements:

- Female, at least 18 years old

- English speaking

- Available to volunteer for at least six months

-Be able to commit to attending dragonboating sessions for least two Saturday morning sessions per month from June until the end of this year

Who We Are

Youth Corps Singapore is a national institution that supports young Singaporeans who are keen to serve the community. As the champion for youth volunteerism, it harnesses the energy and passion of youths to ignite positive change in the society through community service.

Bringing together Singapore Citizens and PRs aged 16 to 35, Youth Corps Singapore provides a platform for youths to learn new skills and meet like-minded peers, who aspire to go forth and create a better Singapore and a better world for all.

What We Offer

As a Member of Youth Corps Singapore, you can make friends with people like yourself at various platforms. Whether it’s health, education, or environmental causes, we offer a diverse range of volunteering opportunities and events for our Members, from community service events to regular volunteering.

Members can also join our Leaders Programme as Aspirants. We provide relevant trainings where you can take your skills and knowledge of service-learning to the next level, and apply them to a project to impact the community. You will also forge greater bonds with fellow Aspirants, and enjoy exclusive perks. When you are conferred as a Leader, you get to continue to develop yourself, initiate community projects and rally your friends to join you on a good cause.

The Red Box

Set in the heart of Orchard Road, The Red Box is a place for youths to gather, exchange ideas and take action to make Singapore a better home for all. Its name draws inspiration from the red box of Singapore’s Founding Prime Minister, Mr Lee Kuan Yew. It represents the late Mr Lee’s love and conviction towards creating a better Singapore.

The Red Box is open to all Youth Corps Members to ignite positive change in our community. Look out for various enrichment and engagement sessions at The Red Box.
