Project LinkAge aims to bring the young and the young-at-heart together to spark a bond between them. Through monthly fun activities, VoLink hopes to cultivate a better understanding for the younger generation towards the aging population, and to keep the seniors active, accompanied, and appreciated. This bond between the two generations is crucial because the young can gain insights on the seniors’ needs and learn to be more caring. At the same time, the young’s activeness can influence the seniors to have a better outlook of life. With this, an intergenerational care and harmony in Singapore will hence be within reach.

Roles and Responsibility of a Befriender

  • Ensure safety of elderly and children during commutation

  • Reduce the intergenerational gap between children and elderly

We provide relevant trainings where you can take your skills and knowledge of service-learning to the next level, and apply them to a project to impact the community. You will also forge greater bonds with fellow Aspirants, and enjoy exclusive perks. When you are conferred as a Leader, you get to continue to develop yourself, initiate community projects and rally your friends to join you on a good cause.

The Red Box

Set in the heart of Orchard Road, The Red Box is a place for youths to gather, exchange ideas and take action to make Singapore a better home for all. Its name draws inspiration from the red box of Singapore’s Founding Prime Minister, Mr Lee Kuan Yew. It represents the late Mr Lee’s love and conviction towards creating a better Singapore.

The Red Box is open to all Youth Corps Members to ignite positive change in our community. Look out for various enrichment and engagement sessions at The Red Box.
