Team Wallflower: Project Wachaa
This project aims to engage youths from low-income families to develop their resiliency and positive character through sports. Youths from disadvantages families are observed to have low self-esteem and confidence. Hence, the project seeks to provide guidance to the youths to develop a new sport as well as to plan and conduct it to the other youth members; The youths will outreach to the community, publicise and recruit youth members for the sports programme.
This project is part of Youth Corps Singapore's Leaders Programme.

Project SK350 D2D (Sengkang350 Door to Door)
Enjoy talking to people? Join Project SK350 D2D as we engage the residents of Sengkang. Through door-to-door engagement sessions, we aim to better understand the interests and identify the skills of the residents so that these information may be used to enable them to contribute and strengthen their community.
As a Volunteer, you will be paired up with another staff to go door-to-door in Sengkang estate. No prior experience is required as training will be provided. This would be an opportunity to learn the various methods of engagement, improving your communication and interpersonal skills, understanding and identifying the various interest groups and at the same time appreciate the various skill-sets offered by residents.
Sengkang FSC is one of the touchpoints of the Ang Mo Kio Family Service Centres (AMKFSC) Community Services Ltd. We aim to support and strengthen by providing casework, counselling services and support programmes focusing on strengthening families and community bonds to individuals and families residing or employed within the estate.

As a Volunteer, you will need to be 18 years old and above. You will be paired up to go door-to-door in Sengkang estate. No prior experience is required as training will be provided. This would be an opportunity to learn the various methods of engagement, improving your communication and interpersonal skills, understanding and identifying the various interest groups and at the same time appreciate the various skill-sets offered by residents.
The minimum commitment required for this event will be the training session and one session from the list of dates provided.
