Our Projects

Just Say Hello

Just Say Hello is an initiative started to provide support for the case workers at CROSSROAD Youth Centre.

As a volunteer, you would get the opportunity to contribute to the Guidance Programme (GP) by conducting; Curfew Checks for youth offenders who are going through community rehabilitation and Post Care Support for youths who have successfully completed community rehabilitation programmes.

Both Post Care Support and Curfew Checks are conducted at CROSSROAD Youth Centre from 7pm to 10pm. During the curfew checks, volunteers would work with staff to ensure compliance to GP curfew requirements though messages and phone calls with youths and their families.

In addition to the curfew checks, volunteers would provide Post Care Support through telephone conversations with youths who have successfully completed community rehabilitation programme and provide a listening ear for youths who wish to share struggles they face.

Through these conversations, volunteers can gain an insight into the rehabilitation process for these youths.

Suitable for volunteers who wish to serve the community but unable to commit weekly or prefer to engage in less direct voluntary work!

This project is part of Youth Corps Singapore’s Leaders Programme.
